SPELD has been committed to assisting and providing support for individuals with Dyslexia and other Specific Learning Difficulties, as well as their parents, employers, teachers, specialists and other professionals since 1968.
As a not-for-profit organisation your membership dollars also make it possible for SPELD to continue to provide this support.

The SPELD Vic Bulletin
Provides updates and articles relevant to Specific Learning Difficulties on a quarterly basis.
SPELD’s Australian Journal of Dyslexia and Specific Learning Disabilities
SPELD’s Australian Journal is available to all corporate members, as well as those individuals who choose the Individual plus Journal membership package.
An annual publication, the Journal provides important insights and practical strategies for parents, educators, specialists and other professionals that support children and adults with Specific Learning Disabilities.
SPELD’s Resource Library
SPELD members have exclusive rights to borrow from the Resource Library which offers over 400 general, parent and teacher reference books, articles and workbooks on maths/numeracy, spelling, reading, writing/language, and study skills. Members also receive a discounted rate on hiring DVDs, tapes and videos.
Membership Packages
Individual, Individual plus Journal and Corporate membership packages are available. The Corporate Membership package entitles three people to access discounted membership rates for any event PD program. Corporate members also receive three copies of membership materials, the bi-annual SPELD Vic Bulletin and annual Journal.
Membership fees
Individual: $75 per year
Individual Membership + Journal: $90 per year
Corporate (includes three copies of the Journal and Bulletin): $185 per year
