Answers for Dyslexia and other Specific Learning Disabilities.

SPELD has been committed to assisting and providing support for those with dyslexia and other Specific Learning Disabilities, as well as their parents, employers, teachers, specialists and other professionals for 40 years.

As a not-for-profit organisation your membership dollars also make it possible for SPELD to continue to provide Answers and support for dyslexia and other Specific Learning Disabilities to all concerned.

Answers at a special membership rate.

The Answer Series is a program of conferences, seminars and workshops that provide answers to a variety of issues relating to dyslexia and other Specific Learning Disabilities, looking at them from many perspectives.

Our members receive a discounted rate on attendance at any SPELD Answer Series conference, seminar or workshop. Members also have booking priority for the Teacher Training Certificate course.

All members receive on-going information throughout the year, including schedules on upcoming events, newsletters, as well as the Bulletin.

The SPELD Vic Bulletin provides updates and articles relevant to learning difficulties on a quarterly basis.

SPELD’s Australian Journal of Dyslexia and Specific Learning Disabilities is available to all corporate members, as well as those individuals who choose the Individual plus Journal membership package.

An annual publication, the Journal provides important insights and practical strategies for parents, educators, specialists and other professionals that support children and adults with Specific Learning Disabilities.

SPELD’s Resource Library - Answers when you need them.

SPELD members have exclusive rights to borrow from the Resource Library which offers over 400 general, parent and teacher reference books, articles and workbooks on maths/numeracy, spelling, reading, writing/language, and study skills. Members also receive a discounted rate on hiring DVDs, tapes and videos.

Individual, Individual plus Journal and Corporate membership packages are available.

The Corporate Membership package entitles three people to access discounted membership rates for any Answer Series conference, seminar, and workshop. Corporate members also receive three copies of membership materials, the bi-annual SPELD Vic Bulletin and annual Journal.

Membership fees.

Individual: $55.00 per year
Individual Membership + Journal: $70.00
Corporate: $165.00 per year
(includes three copies of the Journal and Bulletin)
