SPELD Victoria is seeking to commission an Australian dyslexic composer to create a catchy, upbeat instrumental “song” to introduce a 10 minute documentary about the creation of a large mural titled BE. The 4m X 4m mural has been done in a cartoon style, it’s fun, however it has been done for a serious reason.
Situated in our new home at Donkey Wheel House, Bourke St Melbourne, the mural aims to give young people a positive self-view of their place in the world as part of an extraordinary group of dyslexic people who have changed the world for the better.
The documentary will include interviews with the artist and time lapse video of the whole creation process. Some background atmos components will also needed.
Please send your EOI including a 2-page resume to firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday 14th March.
